Spring Awakening in Manila

I remember getting this video's link from Ronnie 2 years ago but forgot about it soon after.

Only to be reminded again last weekend.

Apparently, Atlantis Productions, after staging the repeat of Spelling Bee, will have a run of this Tony Award-winning musical play from September 25 to October 17 at Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium.

Now, to find who will want to watch with me...

Being Cultured

ano ba? :)) we're so cultured :)) but yes, sige im in ;P

This morning, I received an email with that message from one of my girlfriends. It was in response to another girlfriend's email asking us if we wanted to watch another play on August for our monthly meet-up (considering we're set to watch a play for our July meet-up already).

I'm scheduled to see these:

Spelling Bee - July 3, 2009

The Fantasticks - July 17, 2009

Jack and the Beanstalk - August 8, 2009 (date to be discusssed)

These may put a dent in my wallet but they're also reasons for me to smile. One can't really put a pricetag on the happiness that a good company brings, right? And if it would help in one being considered cultured, then why not?
