after a week

i haven't had decent sleep since we arrived. on the average, we sleep around 2-4 in the morning regardless if it's a work day. during weeknights, we head out at around 8 in the evening. weekends, sometimes early in the day or sometimes afternoon already.

we might have work today (november 1) but last monday was holiday. decided to check out Lan Kwai Fong because officemate heard from her cousin that there'll be halloween celebration there. went there mostly to people watch and roam around.

last night, we were supposedly to have our rest day but because of an unexpected invite, we found ourselves at some bar in Wan Chai drinking the night away.

we planned our itinerary the first night (or was it second night) we came. but it seems we've been changing most of what's in it oftentimes which is actually good. great even!

can't believe our 13-days stay will be over in a few days.

Best Things

Main advantage of going on a business trip is that you get paid to enjoy and shop, (unless of course you buy more than what your allowance permits you).

There are other perks as well, and one of them is that I get to go home late (early morning, that is) on a work day without my parents nagging me to come home already (just like now).

Anyway...

Happy Halloween!

Name Variations

Everytime I order something from Starbucks, I tend to check my name's spelling. Its a hit and miss actually. Most of the time, they spell it incorrectly, and then there are times when they write a totally different name.

Just recently, I decided I'd take pictures as some sort of a collection. First installment is this.

Happy For You

To make a relationship work is itself not an easy task, all the more when both parties are at different sides of the world. Takes extra effort to do just that.

There are long distance relationships that do not work and there are those that do. And when LDRs succeed, it's always a blessing (basically, any relationship that is).

To you: Congratulations and regards to you both! >:D<

3 Days and Counting

and a half actually.

Tuesday afternoon, lights went out in the office. Building has generator but not capable of supporting our computers. We were then allowed to leave office early (just in time because i was planning to go on an undertime to watch a movie).

Thursday was Milenyo day. Didn't go to work and boss eventually announced that there's no work.

On Friday, I was the earliest to come to the office only to find out that we still have no power (i was super shocked to see the sight - uprooted and toppled trees, fallen branches and twigs, crushed walls, etc on the way to the office because whole day thursday i was just inside my room, did nothing but sleep and review a little). By 10am, we were allowed to go already. Me and a friend decided not to go home yet so we trooped to the nearest mall. Wrong move as it was super hot in there. Oh well. At least we were able to kill time.

Today, we were all surprised to find out that power hasn't come back yet.

I wonder if tomorrow it's business as usual for us. We should probably be rejoicing because we get paid for days now without not really working. But then there's project schedule that we're trying to make it on time.
