I was looking at my mom kanina while she was preparing my breakfast. Wala lang. Nagtataka lang ako, bakit kaya ako hindi marunong magluto? Kasi naman, my uncles and aunties on my mother's side are good cooks. Manliliit pa nga 'ko sa kapatid ko kasi mas marunong pa sya sa akin e.

Going back... I was watching my mom and yun na. I thought, this is one of the things I love about my mom. It's the way she takes really really good care of us.

If she needs to go somewhere, hindi yun aalis ng house unless nakapagluto na sya and may food na kami kahit na ma-late na sya sa lakad nya. If she's gonna be gone for a week, naka-ready na rin yung mga food namin, it's either i-ffry na lang or is-steam na lang. Tapos when she gets back, parating may food na naman yang pasalubong.

If we tell her: ma, there's this dish we ordered from there and ang sarap.. sobra. The next few days, makikita mo yan, looking for the recipe and ttry na nyang iluto.

When I get sick and I still go to school, pprepare rin niya my meds. Naka-pack pa kung ano yung iinumin ko for what time. May kasama pang text to remind me na it's time to drink my meds.

Minsan magugulat na lang kami, naka-ayos na rin yung things na we need for the next day. All we have to do is pick them up and we're ready to go.

My mom knows she need not do those things na, cause me, my sis and my dad are capable of doing those na. I guess gusto lang niya na ginagawa yun for us. And sometimes, I overlook those little things kapag napapagalitan ako. My mom can be such a nagger at times, pero with everything that she's done (and is still doing) for us, who cares, right?
