holy week in a single post

Tuesday - got home late but decided to watch Love Actually for the second time. slept at around 2 in the morning.

Wednesday - woke up late. watched this Korean movie, Pisces on cable. slept and then watched tv some more. watched Mona Lisa Smile and Something's Gotta Give with my sister. slept at 2 in the morning once again.

Thursday - woke up a little bit early than the day before. surfed the net. went outside to watch while it rained. slept. played domino with my sister then my dad. watched Last Samurai (felt like it was a cross-between Braveheart and Seven Samurai) and Runaway Jury (for the second time) with my sister. slept at 4 in the morning.

Friday - woke up really really late. surfed the net. went outside to watch while it rained once again. watched tv. lazed around. watched Passion of the Christ and Love Actually (for the third time) with my sister (who else???). slept at 3 in the morning.

Saturday - woke up early. me and my sister cleaned and washed our bags (which took us longer than we thought). slept. watched tv. mulled over if we should or should i say, we want to watch Master and Commander (decided not to). watched 50 First Dates. slept at 12 midnight.

Sunday - woke up late thus we weren't able to go to church (very guilty). surfed the net. played monopoly with my sis, and millionare's game after that. prepared my things and then finally went home to manila.

in short, i did nothing but watch dvds, play board games, act like a petulant child, and pig out like there was no tomorrow the past few days.

seemed like i wasn't any different from those people who took advantage of the holy week to travel somewhere with their family members. seemed like i didn't know what holy week was all about, huh?

maybe it's because i don't wait for the holy week to reflect and be grateful of His sacrifice for us. maybe i don't like it when people think that it's only during holy week that they should be "mabait". maybe i'm just justifying my being a bum last week... then again, maybe i do have a point.
