From One Anniv to Another, One Promo to Another

Brothers Burger recently had their flashback-rollback promo last June 23. They rolled back the price of their 2 most-known burgers, Big Brothers Burger and Brother's Pounder to their prices back in 1999.

Me and my office friends were excited when we learned of the said deal. Unfortunately for us, we weren't able to do so. Initially, when we dropped by the Highstreet branch, we were already overwhelmed by the line of people waiting to take part of the opportunity that we decided not to buy anymore. After a half hour or so, we tried to check the joint again because the line we saw earlier were nowhere to found. We went inside thinking the management was able to perform damage control. We were disappointed though, because we saw rows of reciepts of the orders plastered on the wall. Apparently, it would take us 1 and a half hours for our orders to be served. That was the time we finally said we'd head to McDo instead.

It seems that this year marks not just Brothers' anniversary but also Krispy Kreme's. Krispy Kreme will give away a free Original Glazed doughnut for any purchase/s made on July 13.



Now, if only I'm not watching my weight. :-/
