saw Serendipity for the nth time at w@wow channel yesterday.
what is the one scene that i love the most in the movie? nah, it's not a sarah-jonathan moment. rather, a dean-jonathan moment. i was telling carrots before that i wanted what dean, jonathan's best friend did in that movie. dean wrote jonathan his obituary and gave it to him to read. it's ironic how people say/write things to someone after the person dies. truth is, sometimes those words could make a difference. think of those who took their own lives, hearing people say those "kind" words could have encouraged them or may have given them hope. i don't know. that could be fancy thinking, nevertheless, i'd want my close friends to write me an obituary when i'm still alive and kicking. no, not to ego-trip. but to at least let me know if i did something worthwile during or not during my time.
