I have to change that part there that says I'm 21 years old. Just turned a year older today.
Thanks to those people who texted and called me up to greet me a happy birthday. Hugs and kisses to you all! *mwah*

Got to catch the last part of the Oscar's primetime telecast last night. One thing that disappointed me: Eminem wasn't there to get his award.
I'm no Eminem fan, but I would have loved to see and hear him in a ceremony like the Oscars.
And oh, I was also disappointed that Mel Gibson and Al Pacino weren't among the 59 Oscar awards winners who appeared at the ceremony.

My sister recently joined these two Honor Societies (Pi Gamma Mu and Phi Kappa Phi) upon their invitation. And then this week, she received a really really good news but I'll keep my mouth shut about that for the meantime.
Next month will be her graduation and she's running for magna cum laude. She wants lots of stuff (books, bags, shoes, clothes) that I don't know what to give/buy her.
Hell yes, I'm mighty proud of my sister.

I haven't had the time to read anymore. And there's just so many many many books out there that I want my hands on. Topping my list is John Grisham's new book, The King of Torts and I'm planning of book shopping next week. Although I'm wishing my sister would get me that book instead.
Last month I only got to read Shopaholic Goes to Manhattan and finished early this month Lovely Bones, which I unfortunately didn't like. It's like I'm reading a combination of Six Feet Under script and a Teen Angel Series book. Not that I don't like Six Feet Under or those Teen Angel books, it's just that it seemed Lovely Bones didn't offer anything new. I guess I was just expecting too much from that book. Oh well.

I've been having this empty feeling for the past few weeks. Was feeling really lonely thinking my friends are "absent". I hadn't been seeing nor talking with my girl friends since I started working and I missed them terribly. Talked to joy about it already and things are ok na.
The truth was, we could have seen each other last Saturday. But I got lazy and backed out at the last minute. Last night we were set to meet at 6pm. But because my immediate supervisor wouldn't let me off the hook, I got out of the office at 830pm. I arrived at Greenbelt 3's Soulfood just in time to see Angela, Ja, and Joy leave already. It was Shiela who was left with me. Anyway, she accompanied me to have my dinner at Cafe Breton and told me all of their stories. Sayang, I could have heard them straight from the horses' mouths if I hadn't been late. We went back to Glorietta to buy my sister's book before calling it a day.
I arrived past midnight and when I got home the phone rang. It's Shiela or Joy probably, I thought. I asked my sis to answer it while I change clothes. Surprise surprise. It was that creepy caller again. He recognized my sister's voice the moment she said hello and had the guts to say, "Hello. Hi, it's me." Syempre binabaan na sya agad ng sis ko. And here we thought he took a hike na cause we didn't hear from him since last Tuesday. Boy, were we wrong. One thing though, we have to give it to him cause whenever we hang up on him he doesn't dial the next minute and call again. Guess he's taking his time. Tsk tsk. What a creep talaga!

One creepy crawler on the loose...
Me and my sister picked up the phone at the same time last night when it rang at around 10. Since she said hello to the caller first I let her do the talking. It was a guy looking for Audrey. My sister said that he got the wrong number. Instead of hanging up though it seemed that he was trying to strike up a conversation with my sister. My sister on the other hand has no time for that so after answering his question or two, she put down the phone.
I woke up at 7 this morning. When the phone rang, I thought it's probably for my dad (calls usually don't come in that early around here). Was I surprised to hear the voice of last night's caller. This time around he was looking for a certain Tina.
creepy guy: Hello. May I speak with Tina?
me: *sounding very sleepy* Uh, wrong number.
creepy guy: Tina?
me: No. There's no Tina here.
creepy guy: Who's this?
me: Huh?
creepy guy: Come on Tina. I don't wanna fight anymore.
me: *getting irritated* I'm not Tina.
creepy guy: Oh come on.
me: silence *thinking if I should hang up the phone now*
creepy guy: Talk to me.
me: Look, I'm not Tina and I don't know who you are. *puts down the phone*
I thought that was it. When I got home, I was told by my sister that the guy called AGAIN at around 4pm this day. Their conversation was longer than last night's. He was asking my sister if they could be friends or even secret friends. Then he went on asking about me, her sister daw. Duh? And the guy eventually asked what all creepy callers ask, "maybe we could have phone sex or something". My sister was trying not to be rude but that did it.
I hope we heard the end of it already. We don't want him calling again. Puh-leeeese..
