i plead to the people in our local music industry, please stop reviving songs already. if you people think you're doing the young generation a favor by introducing us to old songs through the countless revisions you either produce or sing, you're wrong. whilst there may be songs that have been revived and still are nice to hear, many have failed to do the same thing. can't you just leave it to us to discover these wonderful songs on our own?

what's with me? exasperated and irritated. i just read from an article in phil. star this week about regine velasquez', martin nievera's and another group's albums. all albums featured nothing but old songs! gah! and then i hear Changes in My Life in a version i wasn't familiar with. i remember loving this song back in elementary and then.. argh! i don't exactly know if it's a local or foreign artist, it's just that i've been hating the fact that i hear nothing but revivals from our local artists lately. if there are original songs out there, they're mostly novelty songs... it's disappointing, really.
